Anujan Ramesh, Ph.D. is an accomplished biomedical engineer and the Principal Investigator for Keraceuticals, specializing in macromolecule drug delivery with a focus on leveraging ionic liquid-macromolecule interactions for site-specific delivery. Currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Bioengineering at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University, Anujan collaborates with Dr. Samir Mitragotri on groundbreaking strategies for delivering protein biologics and nucleic acids.

Anujan earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where his thesis focused on reprogramming tumor-associated macrophages using supramolecular nanoparticles. He also holds an MBA from the same institution and a B.Tech in Bioengineering from SASTRA University, India. His research has garnered prestigious accolades, including the Outstanding Student Research Award from the Society for Biomaterials and the Career Development Award from the Biomedical Engineering Society.
With over 18 publications, an h-index of 11, and numerous patents, Anujan’s innovative work has significantly advanced nanomedicine, immunotherapy, and drug delivery systems. He has co-founded Quaesar Biosciences, a startup focused on ovarian cancer diagnostics, and serves as a scientific advisor for Petalouda Therapeutics, specializing in gene therapy for chronic pain management.
